In this article, results of research in the field of managing the formation and reclamation of a landscape after mining operation are submitted. The base of the design for an information system, the analysis of particular necessary pieces of information, and their interrelationships are presented. Furthermore, the design of the information system and its technical and programming supports are given. Individual system layers are described. In conclusion, system outputs, links to the works performed when removing the impacts of mining operation and the next expected progress in developing the system towards a complex system are discussed.
