Methods: Color Doppler imaging was performed immediately before and after extraocular muscle surgery. The ATL HD1-5000 ultrasound was used to measure ophthalmic artery (OA) and central retinal artery (CRA) peak systolic and end dias-tolic velocities. Pourcelot's resistive index was calculated from the velocity measurements. Cineloops of the ophthalmic artery were recorded. A new experimental software package, HDI-LAB from ATL, was used to calculate volumetric flow from the cineloop.
