National University (NU) has been a leader in adult higher education since its inception in 1971. Today, NU offers over fifty WASC accredited academic programs both online and at 25 California-based Learning Centers. Of the 17,203 enrolled students, 28% are undergraduate and 72% are graduate students and the median age is 34. Probably the most unique feature of our University is the one class per month program that allows working adults to focus on one intensive class at a time. Traditional academic schedules are unable to provide this flexibility, so to meet the needs of our adult learners, students may begin a program any month of the year. For us every month is September.
