摘要

Multi-scale deformation and strain measurement is a significant for understanding the role of microstructural on macroscopic mechanical characterizations. The damage evolution and fracture initiation in hierarchical structure materials has been in general associated with the development of regions of localized behaviors, some interfaces in composite materials, defects and inclusions, and other microstructural inhomogeneity at different scales.
