Deformation of submerged breakwaters is investigated using three-dimensional experiments in this paper. The erosion at the submerged breakwater head on the upstream side of longshore current is larger than that at the trunk section of the submerged breakwater. There are two types of accretion at the leeside of the submerged breakwater depending on the ratio of breakwater length to wave length. Eroded area in a crossshore profile at the submerged breakwater head on the upstream side is larger than that in two-dimensional experiments.
