Technological pre-investigations on the realization of a local resolution microphysiologic cell chip or medical diagnostics and pharmaceutical screening

Due to the heterogeneity of the tumour local resolution microphysiological cell chips have to be developed. This would help to characterize the metabolic heterogeneity and localize the metabolic active areas. First the single chip has to be optimised to measure the acidification (pH) and the cellular respiration (pO_2) simultaneously and from the same cells (at one single spot). The geometries have to be optimised by simulation and the layout of the sensor array has to be determined. Afterwards the technological process has to be transferred and the controlling and evaluation electronics (multiplexer, amplifier, input/output) have to be developed.
