Concurrent Engineering: Part 1: Business requirements, life cycle activity, key agenda for success and challenge with ISO standards

摘要

Shorten the "time-to-market" of new product and/or service development, is a business requirement for Concurrent Engineering (CE), as one of the key strategic element for realizing business strategies in the 21st Century business environments. Hierarchical Supply Chain, Life Cycle Activity and "Integrated Manufacturing", studied in ISO TC 184/SC 4, are briefly introduced, and Key Agenda for CE Success and Challenge for CE Systems Realization with ISO Standards are discussed, for providing a set of concrete foundations for realizing CE Systems.
