摘要

We present a model for the calculation of the emission spectra of localized excitons in Zn_(1-x)Cd_xSe quantum wells (QWs). The model takes into account the dependence of localization energy (E_(loc)) on (ⅰ) the lateral size of the islands, (ⅱ) the island size distribution, and, (ⅲ) the exciton island population as a function of temperature. The model includes exciton migration assisted by acoustical phonons. The calculation is illustrated for the case of a 10 ML thick Zn_(0.8)Cd_(0.2)Se/ZnSe QW.
