1. Nature tests of samples of halyards, ropes, threads, fabrics were conducted with the aim of determination of their work resource in flight conditions of space station "MIR". 2. Investigation of physico-mechanical characteristics of materials (tensile strength, relative elongation, change of mass) before and after exposition were conducted in laboratory conditions. 3. By results of investigations it was staged that during exploitation period in space at ISS orbits up to 10 years, halyard of 5 plies provides required structural strength and has safety coefficient 3, and halyard of 8 plies has safety coefficient 5.
