Lithiasis of salivary glands treated with a CO_2 laser

The study compares the results of classical surgical treatment with laserotherapy in lithiasis of submandibular salivary glands. The study included 48 patients, 26 of which were treated with application of a CO_2 laser. The follow-up did not reveal any postoperative complications in the course of healing. No relapse of the disease was observed in patients.
