摘要

Two new C° assumed strain finite element formulations of Reddy's higher-order theory are used to determine the effects of initial stresses on the natural frequencies and stability response of damped composite sandwich plates. Several parametric studies are presented to show the effects of length to thickness ratio, boundary conditions and lamination scheme on the vibration and stability of initially stressed damped composite sandwich plates.
