With the development of electron technology, the use of different electricity and electron sets in different fields is increasing. All kinds of Electromagnetic radiations from Radio-Frequency (RF) transmitters, Electromagnetic interference, Electrostatic discharge, Lightning effects and so on make space environment electromagnetic fields very complex. If Industry electric blasting caps are in strong Environment electromagnetic fields, the usual unshielded leg wires or circuit wires will act as an antenna similar to that on a radio or TV set. This antenna may pick up enough electromagnetic energy to explode industry electric blasting caps. Every year, the output of electric blasting caps in our nation used in blasting projects such as coal mine, mineral deposit, petroleum mine adds up to several hundred millions. Complex electromagnetic environment is hazardous to usage and transportation of large batch of industry electric blasting caps. Those accidents often occur. In this paper, the following points will be discussed: 1) We will analyze the characteristics of typical environment electromagnetic fields. 2) We will analyze and explain the configuration, initiating principle and safe current of industry electric blasting caps. 3) By analyzing and studying the mutual coupling of environment electromagnetic fields and electric blasting caps and the related tests, further, we will evaluate the safety of electric blasting caps in environment electromagnetic fields.
