An overview of the contributions under modeling topic

Three contributions were sent specifically to the topic of Modeling, which was scheduled as the last session of the conference, on Wednesday 27(th). The first paper in this field was moved to the Monday morning session. In this work, Michael and Canfield (Naval Postgraduate School. Monterrey, California, USA) showed the advantages of modeling both photovoltaic and thermophotovolataic devices using the SIL VACO commercial software package. They emphasized the fact that this is a very powerful and flexible simulation tool but it is not often used by the research community involved in TPV cell modeling.
