PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a topic model providing information on the hottest topics in terms of time and geography.;SOLUTION: In a topic modeling device 1, a positional information extracting section 40 extracts positional information from time series texts, and a positional information dependence matrix calculating section 50 calculates a positional information dependence matrix G indicating the similarity depending on positional information between time series texts on the basis of the extracted positional information. Further, a model calculating section 60 calculates, on the basis of the positional information dependence matrix G and a document feature matrix X of the time series texts, a document topic matrix W indicating the degree of relevance between a text and a topic and a topic word matrix H indicating the degree of relevance between a topic and a word as topic models depending on positional information and time information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
