摘要

Trimethoxysilane (TRMS) synthesis from metallurgical-grade silicon (MG-Si) and methanol using a vapor-phase fluidized-bcd reactor was carried out. A reactor material significantly influences the reaction performance. It would be beneficial that stainless steel can be used as the commercial reactor material. The results of intermittent-injection experiments suggest that the reaction system could be operated continuously with high reaction performance.
