摘要

A hydrogen sensor based on an indium-doped calcium zirconate electrolyte and a condensed-phase reference electrode has been fabricated for use in molten aluminum. Characterization of the electrolyte at the very low oxygen pressures prevalent in the melt is important to better understand the sensor performance. In this paper, a technique for measuring the conductivity of the solid electrolyte at very low oxygen partial pressures is described.
