1.Cost of the Lithium hydroxide increasing every month 2.Alternative greases to lithium is must and necessary for grease manufacturers and distributors 3.Mixed thickener(Polymers) containing greases formulated with mineral oil, ester oil, Alkylated Naphthalene oil 4.Grease synthesis process was simple, cost and energy efficient 5.New greases showed thixotropic behavior 6.New greases performed equally/better to commercially available standard lithium greases for lubricant characterization. 7.Bearing studies shows that ester oil with mixed thickener has better potential than other formulation 8.
