Recent experiments have indicated that diamond thin film is a potential material for efficient field emission [1]. As the thickness of the film is about 10 nm, the double barrier of structure, i.e., barriers in the interfaces of substrate and thin film (barrier A) and of thin-film and vacuum (barrier B), would cause a resonant emission [2] The local states of amorphous diamond (a-D) have a positive effect to the resonant emission by broadening the resonant peaks and creating peaks in the lower field regime [3]. To confirm this interesting behavior, more careful study is needed.
