New 1,2,4-triazolyl and tetrazolyl derivatives of nitroguanidine were investigated by ~1H, ~(13)C and ~(15)N NMR spectroscopy. The NMR data are shown that a product of reaction between 1-nitro-2-methylisothiourea and 5-amino-1,2,4-triazole is not 1-nitroguanyl-3(5)-amino-1,2,4-triazole, as we considered earlier, but 1-(1,2,4-triazol-3(5)-yl)-2-nitroguanidine.
