摘要

The bioluminescent affinity test presented here can be completed within 1 to 1 1/2 h and gives an estimate of the functional affinity of antibodies against live bacterial cells such as Salmonella enteritidis. The use of bacteria with bioluminescent and possibly fluorescent phenotypes to determine the affinity constants of antibodies, is a rapid and easy approach for selecting high affinity and specific antibodies for use in detection assays.
