The method involves determining linking of a user of a social network site (102) based on number of contacts of the user. Number of interactions, which are addressed from the user to the contacts, are determined, where the interactions comprise status-update, transmission of message, uploading of medium, or posting of results of an application. Another number of interactions, which are linked with the former interactions and one of the contacts, are determined. The user along with the other users of the social network site is evaluated based on the linking of the user and the interactions. An independent claim is also included for a system for evaluating users of a social on-line network.
