In this work an attempt has been taken to fabricate a function generator on a printed circuit board to study the single layer photolithography techniques on copper-clad board using an RS UV-exposure unit for the first time in Bangladesh. The copper-clad boards were procured from RS Company. The positive photo resist as coated on the copper-clad board has been developed using NaOH and subsequently the underlying layer of copper has been etched using FeCl_3. A successful electrical measurement for voltage-current characteristics of the conducting copper tracks on the printed circuit board has also been carried out to confirm the proper etching in the present work.
