This paper presents the results of a simulation study concerned with the design of a service delivery system. In particular the paper shows how discrete event simulation has been used to assess if the service delivery system of a leading supplier in the aerospace industry, will be able to comply, over the time, with the stringent requirements of a contract recently signed with one of its key customers.
