摘要

A thyristor controlled reactor (TCR) circuit used for static VAR control of electric power system is studied. The circuit exhibits switching times, which jump or bifurcate. A new method for simulation of switches is introduced and multiple state matrix definitions are eliminated. It is instead, illustrated that only one topology, rather than different circuits, is needed to be defined for simulation in conventional analysis.
