A review of power control in cellular mobile communication systems

摘要

The current development of power control research in cellular mobile systems are described in this paper. Typical algorithms including centralized PCA and distributed PCA are illustrated and analyzed. At the same time the algorithms for the multi-rate or the multimedia wireless systems are discussed. The impact to the system performance of power control is then analyzed. In the conclusion of the paper further work of power control algorithms in the third generation cellular mobile system will be presented.
