What Environment Is Best for Newborn Babies and Their Mothers?

This study discusses ideal rooming system for mothers and their babies in the early puerperal period. The study consists of the following 4 parts. 1) A focused interview concerning post partum activities and the psychological state of mothers and their babies 2) Identifying the factors related to building up of bonding between the mother and her baby through questionnaires 3) The experimental study for the psychological distance between mother and her baby 4) Identifying requests regarding room conditions under rooming-in (the mother and her baby stay in the same room) system.
