摘要

The objective of the present study is to obtain fundamental knowledge of the influence of the force on the bubble caused by the shape deformation and surrounding flow field in linear shear flow. We explored the flow structure in the vicinity of the bubble and also deformation of the bubble shape respectively by PIV/LIF and Infrared Shadow Technique (IST). We also applied Lagrangian technique to capture the interaction between the bubble motion and surrounding flow structure for long period. We confirmed that Ca number is effective to be clarifying the influence of the shear rate to the bubble deformation. We indicated that the circulation around the bubble could estimate the bubble motion in shear flow.
