When parts with a complicated shape are dipped into coating liquid, the air may be trapped inside. We call this phenomenon an air-pocket. We have been studying a tow phases flow analysis of coating liquid and air to predict the air-pocket. In previous reports, the influence of ventilation holes was examined. This study was carried out experiments and calculations to study the influence of a gravity direction by a difference of hanging posture. This paper will describe the examination results of air-pocket simulation.
