Measurement for humidity distribution in PEFC Cell

Voltage decay characteristics and cell performance of Polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) are affected by the humidity distribution in PEFC. A study was conducted to establish a method for measuring relative humidity in PEFC Cell. The humidity distribution were measured using a humidity sensor for directly monitoring the relative humidity of the reactant gas flowing through the air and hydrogen flow channel of the cathode and anode separator. Voltage decay characteristics and cell performance were evaluated based on the measured humidity distribution results.
