CHOICES - CRITERIA FOR THE SELECTION OF EQUIPMENT AND PROCESS DESIGN FOR THE PRODUCTION OF GRANULAR MURIATE OF POTASHBY COMPACTION

In recent years, there has been a resurgence in the Potash industry. A number of projects have been constructed or are in the course of construction or planning for nearly all potash producers. Examination of these projects shows that, with similar objectives, owners assisted by engineering companies have made quite different selections of circuit design and equipment. This paper examines some of the criteria used and factors influencing these decisions.
