摘要

For the carbon fiber reinforced epoxy composites, the characteristics of the carbon surface directly influence the mechanical properties, especially influence the interlaminar shear strength of the composites. In this paper, the y -ray radiation technique has been used to modify PAN based carbon fiber, γ -ray radiation technique is a new method to treat fiber reinforcement with high effectiveness, low cost and simple operation. It does no harm to the fiber. So it is a developing method for industry application. The chemical compositions of carbon fiber surface, interfacial characteristics and mechanical property of composites before and after being radiation are studied.
