The Preparation of Super-fine Alumina Powders with Sol-gel Technology

摘要

The super-fine alumina (Al_2O_3) powders were prepared from the raw materials of aluminium-iso-propoxide (Al(C_3H_7O)_3) with the sol-gel technology. The transformation process from the gelata to the alpha alumina powders has been investigated by the means of X-ray diffraction analysis and differential thermal analysis. All the factors that affect the performance of the alpha alumina powders were also discussed in detail.
