ANALYSIS ON RADIONUCLIDE TRANSPORT IN A REPOSITORY WITH MULTIPLE CANISTERS

摘要

Effects of canister multiplicity have been investigated by establishing a model for radionuclide transport in the repository by compartmentalization. Canister multiplicity has significant effect on the long-lived radionuclide concentration in the water leaving the repository. It has been found that the concentration increases as more canisters are included, but becomes independent of the number of canisters for sufficiently many canisters.
