FROM IMAGINATION TO REALITY: SAFER, GREENER AND HIGHER PERFORMING THERMOPLASTIC MATERIALS FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

There is a growing recognition that human activities are causing the introduction of substances into the environment that are leading to climate change. The automotive industry has indicated that it shares public concerns about climate change and is determined to play its part in tackling the problem. As a major supplier of engineering thermoplastic raw materials to the automotive industry, GE Plastics is committed to finding solutions for the environmental challenges faced by vehicle manufacturers. This paper will present several recent developments that GE Plastics have introduced as part of our ecomagination initiative, a program to aggressively bring to market new technologies that help customers meet pressing environmental challenges.
