Capillary electrophoretic enzyme immunassay with electrochemical detection

Capillary electrophoretic enzyme immunoassay with electrochemical detection was set up. The method has advantages of both enzyme immunoassay and capillary electrophoresis. In the assay an on-line enzyme catalysis system was designed. There was a metal needle of syringe in a homemade plexiglas vessel. Both the fused-silica separation capillary and the reaction capillary were inserted in the needle with a very narrow gap between them.
