Quality Control Test in Intraoral Radiography

摘要

In this document, we will show the procedure and results of the quality control test in intraoral X-rays machines, belongs to the Clinica de Imagenología part of the Facultad de Odontologia of the Universidad Nacional Aut?noma de México in Ciudad Universitaria. These quality control tests have been perform following the recommendations of the "Protocolo Espanol de Control de Calidad en Radiodiagnóstico". Results obtained during the measurements shows that the intraoral X-rays machines works in optimal conditions for the radiological images collecting, and it would not present any risk for patients and the equipment operators, because the data obtained in all quality control tests are within normal limits set by the international organizations in relation to nuclear safety and radiation protection.
