Design of a quality management program for Head Neck cancer IMRT/VMAT technique based on prospective risk analysis: A multi-Institutional trial

摘要

In this work we describe the first steps of the development of a quality management program for physics related staffing activities during Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy for Head and Neck treatment process. The methodology adopted was prospective process- and clinic- specific risk analysis leading to the formulation of the quality management program. This methodology was described during "A hands-on Workshop on TG-100" which took place in October 2015 in Mexico City and was conducted by M. Saiful Huq Ph.D. and Peter Dunscombe Ph.D.
