摘要

γ-ray computed tomography (CT) can quantify the physical density of explosive charge. However, little practical information concerning accurate translation of CT value (an approximation of the material' s linear attenuation coefficient) of physical density exists. We describe our method by which we convert CT density to physical density. Examples of this procedure in the study of measuring physical density are given and the factors decreasing the precision and accuracy of measuring density are discussed.
