Single igniting solid sensitized fuel air explosive (FAE) is discussed in this present paper. Pressure time history at specified points is measured by pressure sensor. The results show that the sensitized fuel SQZ-2 has higher overpressure and larger specific impulse than equal mass TNT, and the optimum aluminum powder for SQZ-2 is 20%. One dimension model taking into account artificial viscosity is also formulated to study the characteristics of blast wave in air. The calculating maximum overpressure is good agreement with experimental results.
