Modern instrumentation of a distrillation column for teaching and research purposes

摘要

The aim of this article is to show selection criteria for modern instrumentation of a distillation column. A tower made by Impianti Milano, is being used as a teachign and research plant for continuous processes, at the Simon Bolivar Univeristy, and all their sensor and actuators are of the analog type. Our idea is to redesign the instrumentation using fields bus philosophy.
