A Hybrid Cognitive Model

摘要

This paper presents a generic model for a cognitive agent based on the hypothesis that the cognitive activity has three main characteristics: self-organization, evolutionary nature and history dependence. The generic model is instantiated into a computational architecture that integrates soft computing, evolutionary and symbolic approaches. Using the RoboCup simulator SoccerServer as a test environment, a team of autonomous soccer player agents was implemented based on this computational architecture.
