KTP/532 Laser in Revision Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery is now a well-established procedure for more than a decade. Many studies in the literature have demonstrated the clinical effectiveness of the technique. Successful outcome in the region of 76 -98 % are common. With great majority of studies suggesting improvements in more than 85 % of patients. At the same time there is a failure rate of 2 -24 % of primary surgery and a Revision Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (RESS) is needed.
