This paper is an attempt to look at what we do not teach, rather than what we do, with the aim of re-assessing the priorities. I also look at how the balance has changed over the years, and how it includes the role of computing within control curriculum. This paper may well be found to be rather critical with regard to what we missed or neglected to teach up to nowadays. Paper presents personal views and a statement, but ones that are based on more than thirty years as an academic in the control field both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
