Ultrasonography of 164 Cases with Malignant Tumor Treated by High-intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)

Malignancies pose a serious threat to human health. For a long period of time, people have actively investigated more effective means to treat malignant tumors. In recent years, HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) used for tumor treatment has been highly thought of. This research paper summarizes the characteristic ultrasonographic changes of malignant tumors treated with the JC High Intensity Focused Ultrasound System, developed first by the Institute of Ultrasonic Engineering in Medicine of Chongqing University of Medical Sciences. The whole process of HIFU treatment was real - time monitored by CDFI (color Doppler flow imaging). The cases were periodically examined by ultrasound after HIFU treatment.
