摘要

The paper looks at the problem of spiroid gear hobbing technology from the viewpoint of gear tooth surface quality by suggesting such a combination of tool motions with respect to gear to be hobbed, that ensures rational loading of cutting edges of the hob, reduces surface waviness and eliminates interference in machine-tool meshing. A necessity to apply combined tool motion for non-orthogonal spiroid gear hobbing is shown. Results presented in the paper are based on computer modeling and real gear hobbing.
