A New Design in Gas Burners Maximizes Variety While Minimizing Investment

This paper will describe how a completely sealed gas burner for cookers and cooktops prevents all liquids from entering the area beneath the hotplate pressing, avoiding any damage to electrical components. The burners are endowed with an air intake system that prevents flameout caused by sudden pressure variation below the burner (as occurs in ovens and cabinets). All primary air intake comes from above the cooktop surface. The compactness in the burner is obtained through a radial Venturi (rather than the traditional axial one). The burners are not dependant on air regulation. Injectors are mounted in the burner cup (easily accessible from above the surface of the appliance) and are specifically designed for any gas application. In addition, the standardized burner cup permits maximum design flexibility for the range manufacturer.
