In the recent PCB power relay industry, there has been a strong customer demand for the downsizing of relays with less power consumption as well as a reduction in the prices of the relays. Furthermore1 in view of customer satisfaction, the timely release of products in compliance with the demand is essential. In response to the above, we have optimized the product designing and production designing in parallel for improving the efficiency of both stages, by working on analysis by CAE simulation. Furthermore, by improving the precision of the simulation, we have been saving labor in the production of evaluation samples, and promoting a trial of developing products within a period much shorter than that required in the past. In this method, we have recently succeeded in releasing newly developed products having high quality the market within an unprecedented short time.
