Colloidal drug carriers such as polymeric nanoparticles, SLN~TM, nanoemulsions or liposomes have got an increasing importance in the field of drug delivery and drug targeting. One of the most critical factors of these systems is the stability of particle sizes. In general, stabilizers are needed to ensure submicron particle sizes.
