Study on Denaturation of Bovine a-Lactalbumin by Raman, Raman Optical Activity, and IR Spectroscopy

摘要

Raman optical activity (ROA) refers to a small difference in the intensity of the right and left circularly polarized states of the scattered light by the most rigid and chiral parts of the structure in analyzed molecules. ROA spectra are able to provide information about secondary and tertiary fold of the backbone and its changes in aqueous solution in function of different variables.
