Aerosol particle size distribution, the total number and ice nuclei concentrations in moscow region

The results of measuring the characteristics of atmospheric aerosol in the period of 1987 through 1999 are given. It is shown that no trend in the variation of the high values of total aerosol concentration and ice nuclei concentration was observed in these years. The data collected on the synchronous influence of industrial pollution sources on the total aerosol concentration and the concentration of ice nuclei, along with the previously obtained results, allow one to expect the number of ice nuclei to increase in the atmosphere with the growing man-made pollution.
